Two Half Broke Dudes are a Dutch hard techno and Schranz duo focused on combining the energy and rawness of classic Schranz with modern hard techno production.
Their recent release Pressure, a collaboration with Ortiz Karev and David Temessi, entered the Top 100. Their productions have also gained support from established and emerging names within the scene, including PETDuo, David Temessi, APØTHIC, Golpe, Katy Rough and Skryption.
Production is at the heart of the project. Rather than building DJ sets predominantly around other artists' music, a large part of a typical Two Half Broke Dudes set consists of their own productions, collaborations and unreleased material. This allows their live identity to remain closely connected to the music they create in the studio.
Their international live experience continues to grow. Two Half Broke Dudes have performed at Nature One in Germany and Glitch Festival in Denmark, with confirmed upcoming appearances in Sheffield, UK, and the Netherlands. A recording of their live set from Denmark is available on SoundCloud and provides a direct impression of their current sound, energy and use of original material.
